(Columbus) No injuries were reported after a semi-truck carrying liquid nitrogen tipped over near Columbus early this morning. Authorities were dispatched just before 4am to Highway 151 at the off-ramp at exit 115. Columbus Fire PIO Jerrod Fox says there was no leakage of the liquid nitrogen from the tanker, which was half-full. The AmeriGas truck was off-loaded before being tipped upright, meaning the liquid nitrogen was transferred to another tanker before it was moved. Fox says if there was a leakage, both lanes of Highway 151 would have been closed for several hours and because of construction related ramp-closures nearby, the detour would have been extensive. The Wisconsin State Patrol reports that the scene was cleared just before 1pm pm on Friday.
