Truck Driver From Idaho Has Plea Hearing

4/22/17 – An Idaho truck driver who was found taking a chainsaw from Beaver Dam’s Fleet Farm after it was closed has been found guilty of possessing a firearm as a convicted felon. Paul Henderson will have two years’ probation after pleading no contest to the charge while the other charges of felony Burglary and misdemeanor Theft were dismissed but read into the record. Police responded to the North Spring Street business after it closed on January 17 when multiple alarms were tripped.  A chainsaw valued at $400 was taken. The 24-year-old was convicted of Burglary in another state which lead to the Possession of a Firearm by a Felon charge after a search of his vehicle turned up a weapon. In addition to the probation, Henderson must serve 40 hours of community service and his prohibited from entering the premises of Mills Fleet Farm.
