Trish Koch To Be Inducted Into Beaver Dam High School Athletic Hall Of Fame

(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam High School homecoming ceremonies tonight will include the induction of three new members into their athletic hall of fame. Four sport athlete Trish Koch earned eleven high school letters during her high school career. She won the Little Ten Conference Title in tennis in 1976, was named conference MVP playing for the Golden Beavers basketball team, earned All-Conference recognition in softball and set five school records in track and field. Koch says she was in disbelief when she learned that she had been inducted into the hall of fame.

Koch was also a member of the marching and symphony bands, was on the Beaver Dam High School National Honor Society during her four years and was selected to attend Badger Girls State. Koch attended the United States Air Force Academy for two years, lettering in both basketball and track. She received her master’s degree in 1987 from Northwestern University and currently works at UW-Madison in the Fetzer Center for Academic Excellence. Koch will be recognized alongside Gina Utrie and Ryan Bobholz prior to tonight’s Beaver Dam football game against Reedsburg.
