A reminder, garbage and recycling collection in Beaver Dam will be delayed by one day this week because of the holiday. DPW officials say Veolia Environmental will suspend garbage pick-ups on Christmas Day Tuesday. Residents who normally receive pick-up on Tuesday will instead have garbage collection on Wednesday. Collections will be a day late for the rest of the week with Friday’s route being collected on Saturday. There is no change in schedule for those who receive garbage pick-up tomorrow on Christmas Eve. The Public Works Garage will also be closed on Monday and Tuesday. In addition, there is a bonus collection of recyclables this week.
