4/9/17 – Preliminary data shows that 28 people have died in Wisconsin traffic crashes last month. That number is seven fewer compared to March of last year, per the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. Last month tied the second safest month of March since the end of World War II, with the safest occurring in 2010 with 23 fatalities and the deadliest in 1970 with 99 fatalities. In Dodge County, there have been four traffic deaths since the begging of the year. In Green Lake County, no deaths have been reported. In Fond du Lac County there has been one traffic death so far as well as in Washington and Jefferson County.
