Three area senior high school football players have been placed on the “preseason watch list” for the first batch wissports.net postseason award.
Randolph quarterback Brayden Haffele has been named to the “Watch List” for the Dave Krieg Award which is given each year to the state’s top senior quarterback.
Randolph’s Jordan Tietz and Columbus’ Caden Brunnel were listed on the “Watch List” for the Elroy “Crazy Legs” Hirsch Award, which is awarded annually to the state’s top senior running back.
The pre-season list will include all players, including those whose teams have moved to the alternate spring season. The remaining lists will feature only those programs who will play in the fall. We will review in the spring to determine if additional finalists or winners will be selected for the spring season. Randolph is competing in the fall season Columbus has moved their football season to the spring.
