Tequila is a 3 year old 50lb Akita mix.
Tequila arrived to the DCHS as a stray from Beaver Dam. Tequila is an extremely sweet and well mannered girl.
She has been nothing short of wonderful since arriving at the shelter. Tequila does great on walks and knows basic commands. She has had no issue making friends with everyone she meets whether they have 4 legs or 2. We believe her to be mostly house trained as she keeps her kennel very clean. Tequila also does not seem to mind being in the kennel.
As we said previously she has a very sweet and docile personality but can still get excited and loves to play.
Akitas are a working breed and do best when they receive regular exercise and mental stimulation. They are also built for cold weather which means there will be no disagreements when it comes to exercise in the winter.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion than Tequila is just what you need.
You can visit Tequila at the DCHS any Tuesday or Thursday from 12-7pm.
As well as Saturdays from 12-4pm.
