(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 3,307 positive coronavirus cases in Sunday’s daily update. There are 69,894 active cases in the state, a decrease of 859 from Saturday. Active cases make up 18.2-percent of the 384-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 311-thousand recoveries.
The state reported 22 deaths bringing that total to 3,307. Deaths account for point-nine-percent (.09) of all cases in Wisconsin while 4.4-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says around 265-thousand people were from the United States.
Dodge County has experienced 71 deaths, and 8,313 cases to date. The county had 68 negative tests returned, for a running total of 33,232.
Washington County has reported 70 deaths along with 8,730 cases. Fond du Lac County has 50 deaths and has 8,382 positive tests on record, a one-day increase of 183 cases. Jefferson County has a seen 39 deaths and 5,294 cases to date. Columbia County has 12 deaths and 3,461 positive tests. Green Lake County has six deaths and 1,183 cases on record.
