String of Burglaries Hits Lodi

(Lodi) The Lodi Police Department are investigating a string of burglaries that occurred over the weekend. Authorities says the crimes happened in the early morning hours on Sunday when residents were home sleeping. At two of the burglaries, entry was made through the garage after access was gained by using the garage door openers. Lodi Interim Chief Wayne Smith says the garage door openers were stolen from unlocked vehicles outside the home. Smith says entry to the third residence was unsuccessful because the interior garage door was locked. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lodi Police Department at 608-592-5401 or by calling the anonymous crime stoppers line 800-293-8477.
