(Beaver Dam) The Dodge County Sheriff says if enforcement action will be taken against an area bar who opened over two weeks prior to the “Safer at Home” order ending, will be made following a decision by the State Supreme Court. 6th Gear Bar located on Highway 33 in the town of Beaver Dam reopened their doors on Saturday. Sheriff Dale Schmidt tells Daily Dodge that he has conducted an investigation and it is still on going. The owners of the establishment cited depleting funds and the need to send a message to Governor Tony Evers. The same day, roughly 50 riders departed from the bar and went to Madison to stage a protest against Evers’ extension of the order. Last week, the State Supreme Court heard arguments on a Republican lawsuit to block extension of “Safer at Home” until May 26. A decision is expected any day.
