(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 2,712 positive coronavirus cases in Thursday’s daily update. There are 27,862 active cases in the state, an increase of 113 from Wednesday. Active cases make-up 5.4-percent of the 515-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 482-thousand recoveries.
State health officials recorded 42 deaths bringing that total 5,290. Of the nearly two-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 383-thousand have died in the United States.
Dodge County has experienced 129 deaths, two more than yesterday, and 10,833 cases; a one-day increase of 22 positive tests. The county had 103 negative tests returned for a running total of 37,596.
Washington County has seen 106 deaths along with 12,684 cases to date.
Fond du Lac County has seen 70 deaths with 11,106 positive tests on record; 617 are active cases.
The state says Jefferson County has 61 deaths and 7,152 cases to date; with 386 active cases.
Columbia County reported two additional deaths for a total 35 and 4,536 positive tests; there are 212 active cases.
Green Lake County has 14 deaths with 1,430 cases on record, 41 cases have been reported in the last two weeks.
