(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 1,083 positive coronavirus cases in Monday’s daily update. There are 25,284 active cases in the state, a decrease of 855 from Monday. Active cases make up 4.8-percent of the 522-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 491-thousand recoveries.
State health officials recorded 19 deaths bringing that total to 5,470. Deaths account one-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 4.4-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the two-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 394-thousand people have died nationwide.
Dodge County has experienced 129 deaths and 10,927 cases, a one-day increase of eight positive cases. The county had 37 negative tests returned for a running total of 37,825. Health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 343 people.
Washington County has seen 108 deaths along with 12,827 cases to date.
Fond du Lac County has 73 deaths with 11,208 positive tests on record; 616 are active cases.
The state says Jefferson County has reported 63 deaths and 7,262 cases to date; with 263 active cases.
Columbia County recorded one death for a total 38 and 4,631 positive tests; there are 220 active cases.
Green Lake County has 14 deaths with 1,446 cases on record, 44 cases have been reported in the last two weeks.
