State, Local Covid-19 Monday Update

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 1,696 positive coronavirus cases in Monday’s daily update. There are 24,589 active cases in the state, an increase of 325 from Sunday. Active cases make up 18.3-percent of the 134-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 108-thousand recoveries.

State health officials recorded four deaths Monday, for a total of 1,381. Deaths accounted for one-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 5.7-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Over the one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 209-thousand people were from the US.

Dodge County has 19 deaths on record and 2,207 cases, an increase of 29 from Sunday. The county had 226 negative tests returned for a running total of 24,285.

Washington County has experienced 35 deaths along with 2,922 cases.

Fond du Lac County has 2,505 positive tests on record along with 14 deaths.

Jefferson County is reporting eight deaths and 1,668 cases to date.

There have been three deaths in Columbia County where there have been 848 cases.

Green Lake County now has 366 cases.
