(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 1,435 positive coronavirus cases in Monday’s daily update. There are 35,498 active cases in the state, a decrease of 1,238 from Sunday. Active cases make up 7.7-percent of the 458-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 418-thousand recoveries.
The state reported eight deaths bringing that total to 4,425. Deaths account for one-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 4.4-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 316-thousand people have died in the United States.
Dodge County has experienced 107 deaths and 10,030 cases, a one-day increase of 13. The county 40 negative tests returned for a running total of 35,914. County health officials are actively monitoring 643 people.
Washington County has 92 deaths on record along with 10,916 cases to date, with 1,350 active cases.
Fond du Lac County has a total of 61 deaths with 10,003 positive tests on record; 800 are active cases.
The state says Jefferson County has seen 51 deaths, and 6,291 cases to date; with 429 active cases.
Columbia County has experienced 25 deaths and has had 4,031 positive tests; currently the county has 281 active cases.
Green Lake County has reported 10 deaths with 1,351 cases on record, with 119 cases reported in the last two weeks.
