(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 6,058 positive coronavirus cases in Sunday’s daily update. There are 69,594 active cases in the state, an increase of 1,141 from Saturday. Active cases make up 22.3-percent of the 312-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 240-thousand recoveries.
State health officials recorded 12 deaths, bringing that total to 2,637. Deaths account for point-eight-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 4.6-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 244-thousand people were from the United States.
Dodge County has 53 deaths and 6,662 cases, a one-day increase of 153. The county had 150 negative tests returned for a running total of 31,282.
Washington County is reporting four more deaths, for a total of 58, along with 314 new cases bringing that number to 7,023 cases.
Fond du Lac County reported one new death for a total of 34 with 7,010 positive tests on record.
Jefferson County has now reported 30 deaths and 4,241 cases to date.
There have been 10 deaths in Columbia County where there have been 2,714 total cases.
Green Lake County has logged four deaths and has 1,048 cases on record.
