(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials Thursday reported an increase of 464 cases of COVID-19, which is 4.3-percent of the nearly 11,000 tests administered. There are 26,227 people now having tested positive.
State health officials are reporting nine more deaths bringing that number to 766. Deaths accounted for three-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 13-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Washington County recorded its 15 death yesterday along with five more cases for a running total of 335 cases.
Dodge County has five deaths on record and 445 cases, one more than Wednesday. The county had 160 negative tests returned for a running total of 9,245. Public health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 23 people while 194 have recovered.
Fond du Lac County has six deaths on record and 299 positive tests to date. Jefferson County has four deaths and 201 cases. There has been one death in Columbia County where there are 74 positive cases. Green Lake County has 26 cases.
