State, Local Coronavirus Numbers From Sunday Update

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials reported 830 positive cases of coronavirus in Sunday’s daily update, which is 10.3-percent of the 7,200 tests announced. There are 8,838 active cases in the state, up 205 from Saturday. Active cases make up just under 21-percent of the 42-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 32-thousand recoveries.

State health officials recorded one more death Sunday, bringing that number to 844. Deaths accounted for two-percent of all cases in Wisconsin, while 9.7-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized.

Dodge County has five deaths on record and 564 cases, an increase of seven from Saturday. The county had 343 negative tests returned for a running total of 13,371.

Washington County has 19 deaths on record along with 570 positive tests, a one-day increase of 18 cases. Fond du Lac County has six deaths and 433 positive tests to date. Jefferson County has four deaths and 418 cases. There has been one death in Columbia County where there have been 154 positive cases. Green Lake County now has 47 cases.
