State, County Coronavirus Stats From Saturday Update

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting an increase of 385 cases of COVID-19 in Saturday’s daily update. The seven-day average is 289 daily infections. There are 24,539 people now having tested positive. Three-point-eight-percent (3.8%) of the nearly 10,000 tests administered came back positive Saturday, compared to 2.5-percent Friday.

State health officials recorded 14 more deaths bringing that number to 744. Deaths accounted for three-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 13-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized.

Dodge County has five deaths and 434 cases, an increase of five from Friday. The county had 101 negative tests returned Saturday for a running total of 8,459. Public health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 21 people while 183 have recovered.

Washington County has seen 13 deaths with 313 positive tests to date. Fond du Lac County has six deaths on record and 286 positive tests. Jefferson County has four deaths and 172 cases. There has been one death in Columbia County and 64 positive cases. Green Lake County has 24 cases.
