Job Description Oconomowoc Lake Club in Oconomowoc, WI is looking for a second sous chef to join our 30+ person strong team. Our current culinary team consists of an Executive Chef, a lead Sous Chef, line cooks, pantry cooks and dish team. We are located on 4668 Lake Club Circle. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working.
This is a full time, year round, salaried position. OLC’s peak season runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day (average hours per week 55-60) with our non-peak season running from Labor Day through Memorial Day (average hours per week 32-40). Evenings and weekend availability is required.
OLC is a private club and pride ourselves in the culinary experience that we offer our members year round. In addition, we offer banquet facilities to our members and the community year round.

Train and develop staff to company standards
Create new dishes and menus in accordance with business needs
Anticipate ingredient needs and arrange re-stock accordingly
Ensure a productive kitchen flow that upholds business standards
Experience working as a sous chef (2-3 years) or chef
Experience working with younger staff
High familiarity with kitchen equipment, processes, and health and safety guidelines
Able to delegate tasks effectively and assist when needed
Adaptable to high traffic and kitchen volume (grill as well as fine dining, including fish fry)
Compensation: $42,000.00 – $48,000.00 dependent upon experience.
