A deputy clocked a vehicle speeding southbound on Highway 151 near the town of Trenton just before 1am in October. The suspect vehicle stopped but as the deputy attempted to ID the driver, he accelerated away.
The pursuit continued southbound on 151 for just over seven miles until the vehicle exited onto County Road D and crashed at the end of the on ramp. The driver, identified as Market, was uninjured and was arrested.
The 33-year-old showed signs of impairment and admitted to drinking alcohol and using THC prior to driving. Authorities did locate over 13 grams of THC wax in a rubber container following a search of the vehicle.
