Sharon F. Herrick, age 73, died peacefully on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at her home in Beaver Dam.
There will be a graveside service at Oak Lawn Cemetery in the Town of Buffalo, Marquette Country, Wisconsin on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Mike Vargo officiating.
The former Sharon Fay McGwin was born on July 20, 1946 in Portage, Wisconsin to Howard W. and Ferol K. (Hatcher) McGwin. She was united in marriage with Jerome Herrick on June 7, 1971 in Rockford, Illinois. Sharon worked at S.I. Feeders in Portage for a number of years as an administrative assistant. She loved traveling, fishing and deer hunting with Jerome. Sharon would spend her spare time knitting and sewing, and she looked forward to spring when she could plant flowers. Sharon was often found in the kitchen cooking, baking, and canning. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and cherished the friends she made there.
Sharon will be missed by her husband, Jerome of Beaver Dam; children, Kimberly (Justus Carl) Spillner of Montello, Suzanne (Sam) Varela, and Raymond (Jeanne Kurimski) Herrick of Green Bay; grandchildren, Nicole and Justus Chase (Elizabeth) Spillner, Brady (Robyn Vallejos) and Cody Varela, Jonah and Kaleb Herrick, Chloe, Riley, Cody, Austin, and Nicky Kurimski, and Ryder Herrick; great grandchildren, Justus Caleb and Lillian Spillner, and Lilly Vallejos; brothers, Kenneth (Julie), John (Sally), and Timothy (Pauli) McGwin. Sharon is reunited with her parents, and her infant son, Jerome.
