Several Beaver Dam Streets Will Be Chip Sealed Next Week

(Beaver Dam) A number of streets in Beaver Dam will be chip sealed next week. The maintenance work will begin on June 20th and be completed by the 23rd. Fourteen roads will be chip sealed in all including South Center Street, North Crystal Lake Road, Industrial Drive East, South Lincoln Avenue, East Main Street, and North Spring Street.

City officials say chip sealing requires limited traffic on the street during the application process. Temporary no parking signs will be placed near the impacted streets. Vehicles that remain parked in the area will be towed at the owner’s expense. Parking is permitted Saturday through Sunday.

Once the chip sealing process has been completed, the temporary no parking signs will be removed. The work schedule is weather dependent.
