(Juneau) All of Dodge County’s senior congregate dining sites will continue to remain closed due to concerns over COVID-19. Sites include the Watermark in Beaver Dam, the Mayville Senior Center, Horicon City Hall, the dining site at the Randolph Greenview Apartments, the Reeseville Senior Apartments, and the Hustisford Fireman’s Station. Home delivered meals will continue for existing patrons with eligible participants’ receiving five frozen meals per week. Best practices including daily temperature checks, required masks for deliveries, fresh gloves between each delivery alongside hand sanitization, daily vehicle and food transport sanitization, and contactless delivery flexibility will continue. Officials say this provides a larger supply of food to people as well as minimizes risk and exposure to those who utilize the service, volunteer drivers and department staff.
