Wisconsin state Senator Jon Erpenbach has asked the state’s top election official what lawmakers can do to stop voter intimidation. Government Accountability Board director Kevin Kennedy
spoke to a newly-created Senate panel which is taking a look at voting in Wisconsin. Kennedy was asked about election observers who challenge what Democrats call “every single thing under the sun” at a polling place, including voters who are trying to register. Kennedy told the committee members there has to be a legitimate reason to challenge a registration. Otherwise, the challenger can be removed. All members of that panel are Democrats.
