School Board Race Preview For Tuesday’s General Election

(Beaver Dam) There are several contested school board races on the April ballot in the Dodge County area.  

In Beaver Dam, there are four seats and five candidates including incumbents Chad Prieve, Mary Kuntz, and Maria Mason along with Isaac Dornfeld and Steve Rydzewski. 

There are two contested races in Waupun. Jodie Tank and Megan Vande Zande are running for the towns of Alto and Trenton seat. Incumbent Lori Van Buren is facing a challenge from Benjamin Pickart for the city of Waupun seat. 

There are two open seats in the Columbus School District and four candidates including incumbent Mike O’Brian along with Martha Rule, Chris Roelke, and Joseph Hammer. 

In the Fall River School District there are five candidates competing for three seats including Ken Dickerson, Jeff Abegglen (ah-buh-glen), Kelly Remus, Megan Jeranek and incumbent Guy Robbins.  

In the Randolph School District, four candidates are going for two seats, among them: Lindsay Vree and Steve Rodriguez along with incumbents Mike Biel and Wayne Vanderploeg.

There are also contested school board races in Watertown and Waterloo.
