(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 6,224 positive coronavirus cases in Saturday’s daily update. There are 75,922 active cases in the state, an increase of 273 from Friday. Active cases make up 21.6-percent of the 351-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 272-thousand recoveries.
State health officials recorded 51 deaths, bringing that total to 3005. Deaths account for point-nine-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 4.5-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 253-thousand people were from the United States.
Dodge County is reporting one death on Saturday for a total of 65 deaths along with 7,448 cases, a one-day increase of 194 people. The county had 282 negative tests returned.
Washington County has reported a total of 64 deaths along with 235 more cases for a total of 7,892 cases. Fond du Lac County is reporting 41 deaths with 7,856 positive tests on record. Jefferson County has recorded 33 deaths and 4,796 cases to date. There have been 10 deaths in Columbia County where there have been 3,076 total cases. Green Lake County has logged five deaths and has 1,110 cases on record.
