ROLAND WUESTHOFF SR.

Roland “Pete” H. Wuesthoff Sr., age 92 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.

Roland was born on September 29, 1926, the son of Herman and Amanda (Koehn) Wuesthoff. He was united in marriage to Anita Winker on May 28, 1951 in Dubuque, IA. Pete worked for Hanefeld Trucking for over 40 years, and he always looked forward to attending tractor pulls, horse pulls, races and demolition derbies. A longtime member of First Ev. Lutheran Church, Pete enjoyed tending to his flowers and was a self-employed lawn mower extraordinaire!

Pete is survived by his six children, Barbara Ramsay of Beaver Dam, Diana (Lee) Lebron of Milwaukee, Roland (Linn) Wuesthoff Jr. of Fox Lake, David (Lisa Scholz) Wuesthoff of Beaver Dam, Richard (Sue) Wuesthoff of Beaver Dam, and Dennis (Sue) Wuesthoff of Beaver Dam; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 1 more on the way; 1 brother-in-law; 2 sisters-in-law; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Anita; son-in-law, Thomas Ramsay; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Wuesthoff; 3 brothers; 3 sisters and other relatives.

A memorial gathering for Roland will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Elaine Gerth officiating. Inurnment for both Roland and Anita will take place at Oakwood Cemetery, Beaver Dam at a later date.
