Lourdes Academy 17 Randolph 14
2nd ranked Lourdes Academy delt 4th ranked Randolph their first loss of the season 17-14 in a battle of top 10 teams in Division Seven on Saturday afternoon in the Fox Valley. All the scoring in this one came in the first half. Lourdes produced the only score of the first quarter when QB Josh Bauer connected with Jack McKellips on 12 yard TD pass. Randolph pulled even when Brayden Haffele hit Jordan Tietz on an 11 yard TD pass with 8:44 left in the half. The Knights answered though with 6:21 left in the half when Bauer punched it in from 5 yards out giving Lourdes the 14-7 lead. Randolph answered as Haffele hit Jax Rataczak on a 33-yard strike with :44 seconds left before the break to knot the game back at 14-14. Lourdes once again responded by positioning kicker Will Pollack for a 27 yard field goal as the half expired to give Lourdes the 17-14 lead. Both teams had chances to score inside the 10 yard line in the 2nd half but nobody could hit paydirt.. Randolph (4-1) hosts Fall River/Rio next Friday night.

Brookfield Academy 34 Fall River-Rio 18
The Fall River/Rio football team dropped a 34-18 non-conference game to Brookfield Academy on Saturday afternoon in Fall River. Brookfield Academy’s Jonah Jensen scored four touchdowns on the day, including a 37 yard scoop and score in the first quarter and touchdown runs of 52 and ten and 1 yards. Fall River’s Jacob Rowe returned the opening kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown and also caught a 52 yard touchdown pass from Matthew Miller. Gavin Grams scored the Rebels other TD on a one yard QB sneak. Fall River (1-2) travels to Randolph on Friday night.
