(Horicon) The Rock River Archaeological Society has announced the topic of their upcoming February meeting. The program will cover the Lakota Sweat Lodge Ceremony and feature speakers Archan Sramek and Benjamin Talbot. The pair will delight those in attendance with their firsthand account of taking part in this Rite of Purification ceremony designed to give thanks, to heal, to seek wisdom, and to purify the mind, body, and soul. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday February 19th at the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center in Horicon. Start time is 6:30pm and includes a question and answer session after the presentation followed by refreshments. The event is free and open the public.
