Robert Franklin Bradley, age 92 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam.
Robert was born in Randolph on July 31, 1927, the son of David R. and Dora D. (Green) Bradley. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII, as part of the 349th Infantry in the 88th Division, the “Blue Devils.” A lifelong dairy farmer, Robert loved being on the farm as well as having chickens, even having them when he lived in town. Robert was united in marriage to Betty Luthold in 1948. He enjoyed doing woodworking projects for the grandchildren and going on gambling trips with his special friend, Alice. Robert was a member of the Lowell VFW, as well as the Third Street Band at the Beaver Dam Senior Center.
Robert is survived by his sons, David L. (Linda) of Fox Lake, Robert S. (Jill) of Waupun, Richard K. (Mun) of Fox Lake, Roger E. of Lady Lake, FL, Jeffrey L. (Sandy Boddon) of Columbus; his daughters, Shari L. (Al) Reinders of Beaver Dam, and Laurie A. (Pat) Finucan of Endeavor; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; special friend, Alice Harvey of Beaver Dam; and further survived by other relatives and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Duaine (Elaine) Bradley; sister, Thelma (Royal) Zunker; and other relatives.
Visitation for Robert will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 p.m with Chaplain Dennis Richards officiating. Burial will take place at Fall River Cemetery with graveside military honors.
