Robbery Suspect Seeks Bond Reduction, Gets Bond Increase

(Lomira) A Milwaukee woman facing charges in Dodge County for a hold-up on the interstate near Lomira was in court for a motion hearing Tuesday. 18-year-old Ladaja Denise Hister is charged with felony Armed Robbery and Possession of a Firearm as a Convicted Felon along with misdemeanor Intentionally Pointing a Firearm and Obstruction. A motorist was robbed at gunpoint at the Exxon gas station on Interstate 41 in October. Authorities later apprehended the suspects on the interstate. A firearm and the victim’s cellphone were reportedly found inside their vehicle. Hister had a cash bond set at $5000 in October and was seeking a bond reduction but her attorney yesterday withdrew the request. Prosecutors were then granted a motion to increase bail to $50-thousand dollars. More serious felony charges were filed since the bail was first set.
