(Beaver Dam) The ribbon was cut Friday on a completed $2-million-dollar road project in Beaver Dam. Crews have been working on South Spring Street, between Mill Street and Front Street since March. Work included the removal and replacement of the existing pavement structure, curb and gutter, driveway aprons, sidewalk, sanitary sewer, water main, and storm sewer. Mayor Becky Glewen thanked all who were involved in seeing the project through till the end.
Glewen encouraged the public to come to the downtown and support all the businesses along South Spring Street. She also called the project an economic driver for the community.
