Park Flasher Found Not Competent To Stand Trial

(Watertown) A review hearing has been scheduled for a Watertown area man accused of repeat offenses of disorderly conduct and lewd lascivious behavior-exposure. On April 5th of last year, Bryan Peterson allegedly engaged in inappropriate conduct while at Riverside Park in Watertown. According to the criminal complaint, the 25-year-old Peterson had been witnessed by several park goers with his pants down, touching himself. When asked by authorities what he was doing in the park, Peterson reportedly told officers he was “just laying down and chilling” and he might have done something stupid. A competency hearing yesterday (Thursday) found the accused to be not competent, with treatment ordered.
