(Beaver Dam) A Beaver Dam real estate business is being recognized as the newest Blue Zones Project Approved Worksite in Dodge County. A ribbon cutting ceremony was recently held at REMAX Prime Beaver Dam, recognizing the business for their commitment to improving the well-being of employees. Within the company, employees have the opportunity to work at sit-to-stand desks where a variety of body stretches are posted to promote physical well-being. Micro breaks are encouraged and a space to Downshift is provided. Comfortable work attire is promoted and the staff can even bring their dogs to work to create a feeling of ease. REMAX Prime Owner Glenna Bachim says they are excited to not only be the first real estate company in Dodge County but also the first in Wisconsin to be approved by the Blue Zones Project. She adds that health and wellness is to everyone at REMAX Prime. The Blue Zones Project, sponsored by Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam, is a community-led well-being improvement initiative designed to make healthy choices easier through permanent changes to environment, policy, and social networks.
