(Beaver Dam) Registration for the 2024-2025 Leadership Beaver Dam fall class is now open.
The class consists of nine sessions for the price of $550, or $500 for the early bird rate. Participants will become more knowledgeable and more effective as parents, employees, employers, citizens, volunteers, and neighbors. They will also be involved in community projects designed and decided on by the participants, utilizing the information and skills gained during the program, with a final report taking place at graduation.
Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Tracy Propst highlighted some of the recent community projects that resulted from the Leadership program on a recent Community Comment.
“Through that they also do a service project and some of the more notable ones were help fundraising to start the watermark is one of them and then also Sheriff Schmidt with Rotary Lights. There’s been signage down by the lake, there’s just a number of community service projects that have come out of those classes.”
Since the start of the class in 2009, almost 200 participants have graduated with another class of 17 graduating in May.
