Regional Vehicle Sales Down When Compared To 2021

(Dodge County) Dodge County vehicle sales last year were down when compared to 2021. According to statistics released by the Waterloo-based industry tracking firm Reg-Trak, Dodge County had nearly 28-hundred vehicle sales in 2022, down 20-percent from the previous year. Car sales decreased 29-percent with 263 while truck sales dropped 19-percent to just over 25-hundred.

In Columbia County, 21-hundred vehicles rolled off dealer lots through the end of December, a decline of 16-percent. Car sales were down 22-percent to 226 sold while truck sales decreased by 15-percent with 19-hundred sold.

Jefferson County vehicles sales were above 21-hundred, a drop of 20-percent over the last 12-month cycle. Car sales were down 24-percent with 258 while truck sales declined by 19-percent with 18-hundred sold.

For the nine-county south central Wisconsin region as a hole, there were nearly 36-thousand vehicle sales in 2022, a 15-percent drop. Car sales were down 21-percent while trucks sales dropped 14-percent.
