Reeseville Man Gets Probation For Injuring Deputy

(Lowell) A Reeseville man who injured a deputy was placed on three years’ probation Monday. Last month, Craig Skalitzky entered a no contest plea to a felony count of Battery to Law Enforcement. A misdemeanor charge of Resisting was dismissed but read into the record. A sheriff’s deputy was dispatched for a well fair check to Skalitzky’s home in July. Skalitzky answered the door wielding a pitchfork. The 46-year-old, who had a warrant out for his arrest, shut the door on the deputy who kicked it open. The deputy was punched once in the chest and another time in the face by Skalitzky. A Taser was deployed and Skalitzky was taken into custody.
