Record Number Of Coronavirus Cases Reported Thursday

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting another record of 3,747 positive coronavirus cases in Thursday’s daily update. There are 33,160 active cases in the state, an increase of 1565 from Wednesday. State health officials recorded 17 deaths, bringing that total to 1,553. The CDC says the US death toll is at 216-thousand people.

Dodge County has 19 deaths on record and 2,806 cases, an increase of 73 from Wednesday. The county had 132 negative tests returned. Public health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 829 people while 1,486 have recovered.

Washington County has experienced 40 deaths and has 777 active cases. Fond du Lac County has 1018 active cases, along with 16 deaths. Jefferson County has reported nine deaths and has 436 active cases. There have been four deaths in Columbia County where there are 401 active cases. Green Lake County has reported two deaths and has seen 213 new cases in the past two weeks.
