Randolph High School senior Jorey Buwalda announced via social media this weekend that she has verbally committed to play NCAA Division One women’s college basketball at UW-Milwaukee. Buwalda played a huge role in the Rockets 31-0 season in 2021-22 that culminated in a WIAA Division Five state championship. She averaged 19.3 points and 9.3 rebounds per contest on her way 1st Team Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association All-State honors. Buwalda was also named 4th Team All-State by the Associated Press.
