Randolph Man Sentenced For Police Chase

2/11/17 – A Randolph man was sentenced yesterday to four months in jail for running from police.  Jason S. White pled “no contest” to one felony count of Attempting to Flee a Traffic Officer and had a misdemeanor dismissed.  The 30-year-old crashed his truck when he was speeding away from an officer in the Town of Fox Lake last August.  White failed to negotiate a curve in the road on Chief Kuno Trail.  The truck crashed through a power transformer box, struck a boat trailer and garage, flipped, and landed on its side.  Multiple houses were without power due to the damage.  White fled the scene and was arrested the next day.  In addition to four months in jail with work release privileges, White was also placed on probation for two years and ordered to pay $12-thousand dollars in restitution.
