Randolph Girls Basketball Off To 9-3 Start

The Randolph girls basketball team (Overall: 9-3, Trailways West: 4-2) has gotten off to a solid start this season by meshing a pair of experienced players with some new faces on the varsity.  As this season began, head coach Chad Kaufman returned just a pair of players who saw significant varsity action from last year’s squad in senior Brianna Prieve (14.5ppg) and sophomore Presley Buwalda (8.7ppg).  Prieve is a two-time 1st Team All Trailways West selection and will play college basketball at UW-Stout.   Six-foot freshman Jorey Buwalda has fit right into the varsity rotation this season averaging 12.9 points and 11 rebounds per contest. Randolph got off to a blazing 5-0 start this season with wins over; Westfield, Horicon, Hustisford, Montello and Princeton-Green Lake. After dropping games to Pardeeville and Fall River, the Rockets have ripped of wins in four of their last five games.   Randolph travels to Cambrai-Friesland tonight.  That game tips at 7:15pm.
