Public Encouraged To Sign Up For Payslie’s Pals Cornhole Fundraiser

(Fall River) The public is encouraged to sign up for a cornhole tournament fundraiser in Fall River that will benefit a foundation for Angelman Syndrome. Payslie’s Pals Third Annual Cornhole Tournament is happening next Saturday, July 20th, at Fall River Village Park starting at 12pm.

Proceeds will go towards FAST, a leading patient advocacy organization working to cure Angelman Syndrome. As the largest non-governmental funder of Angelman syndrome research in the world, their goal is to drive forward transformative research and development programs as quickly as possible.

Angelman Syndrome typically causes balance issues, motor impairment, and seizures. Some individuals may never walk or speak, and disruptive sleep is a common challenge.

The event will have brats and burgers for sale including basket raffles, a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, and music. The registration fee is $20 per person or $40 per team. Organizers say pre-registration is required and the deadline is July 18th.
