Protestors Arrested In Madison

6/9/11- Twelve silent protestors were arrested yesterday, after they refused to leave the office of state Assembly finance chairman Robin Vos. The demonstrators were wearing zombie makeup. Vos spokesman Kit Beyer said people carried out the protestors one-by-one after they had spent a half-hour in the lawmaker’s office. Vos was not there at the time. The Racine County Republican had a big hand in crafting the state budget for the next two years that the full Legislature will take up next week. Capitol Police said 10 protestors were given citations for disorderly conduct. One had to post a 263-dollar bond because he was not from Wisconsin. And the other one was booked and then released.
