(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Business Park will soon have a new tenant. The Columbus Community Hospital will be building a new, 10-thousand-square foot primary care facility on five acres. Jeff Gillis is a design-builder and owner of Middleton Terrace LLC and would lease the building to the hospital. The deal also includes an option for an additional five acres for the potential use as a medical office space. The per-square foot building cost is estimated at $225 to $250, not including the land purchase; the first phase is expected to add $2.2-million dollars to the tax rolls. The Beaver Dam Common Council this week approved the sale of the five acres at a total cost of $200-thousand, with the option for five additional acres within 18 months.
