“A good team win. Kallie Feder really stepped up for us defensively with 8 digs and Lucy Spende sparked momentum in several runs giving us 6 aces.  Stoughton made a run late in the 3rd set, and the team kept their composure and pulled through together. I think they can be really proud of the work they put in tonight.” – Gosling coach Erin Steuerwald

“We started off the season with some tough opponents and knew it would help prepare us going into conference season.  We had a bit of a lull in the first set, but battled back and had a great finish playing clean volleyball.  The second and third sets had us playing more consistent overall and accomplishing our intentions.  I thought overall we did a nice job of passing and getting ourselves in system. Emily Loging had a great night attacking, and either scoring or getting the opponents out of system.  It was a great team win and a chance to start the conference season.” – Rio Coach JC Madorin
