“We played a really good soccer game tonight. A couple of unlucky plays here and there was the difference. We played with a lot of energy and positive enthusiasm all night. We moved the ball better and had some opportunities that we did not capitalize on. This was a good soccer game to watch as there was good soccer played by both teams. Waupun Cross Country won the Laconia Invite
The Boys Cross Country team placed 1st at the Laconia Invite at Laconia High School last night. Triston Rockwell led the team placing 2nd, followed by Marcus Kuhn in 4th place, Camron Pokorny in 6th place. Conner Kuhn in 7th place, and Zander Disbrow rounded out the scoring five placing 8th. The Girls Cross Country team had an incomplete team at the Laconia Invite at Laconia High School last night. Josie Kooima led the team placing 2nd, followed by Naomi Aalsma in 7th place, Ella Morenzien in 13th place, and Emma Walstra placed 18th.

Eight members of the Watertown High School girls tennis team qualified for the Sectional at Badger High School on Wednesday with strong showings at the Stoughton Sub-Sectional on Tuesday.
