Notes:

“Every time we play at Cambria-Friesland it is a dog fight and tonight was no different.  Every single game of the night was back and forth up until the end.  The first two sets we did some nice things but got caught a bit with our serve receive.  I give a lot of credit to their setter (Drews) who has a great float serve that she places well with a lot of float.  When we had our backs to the wall the ladies responded well and started closing out sets. Emily Loging found her rhythm in the final few sets and made some great attacking plays for us to put us in a good position.  Overall our serving improved in consistency and we were able to keep C-F out of rhythm.  That was led by Anna Benisch with 10 aces.  She did a great job of hitting seams and attacking the zone we were looking at.  Our backcourt settled in a lot with six players having at least 8 digs. Overall it was quite a battle between two even teams, and a fun match.” – Rio coach JC Madorin
