Central Wisconsin Christian 3 Hustisford 1
-CWC wins Trailways East
“We have been through a lot of adversity this year and knew that it would take our best match on the biggest night to come home with the Trophy. I can’t say enough about how hard the girls fought. They showed great resilience all night, and made things really hard on Hustiford. Ada Smies had a huge night at the net with 20 kills and 7 blocks. KK Vander Werff trusted all of her hitters all night and we put big swings on the ball when it counted most. She kept us in our offense and took advantage of our best matchups constantly. Thank you to Hustisford’s team and fans and the CWC faithful that made it the best volleyball environment I’ve seen in years. 2 great teams battled all night. It was so special to have two 6-0 teams that could play for the conference championship at the end of the season. “ -CWC Coach Dan Ten Napel
Watertown 3 Waunakee 2
“A great win against a very talented team to finish out our conference schedule tonight. Proud of how the girls battled through some ups and downs and excited to see how this momentum will carry over into our conference tournament this weekend. “ – Gosling Coach Erin Steuerwald
Sauk Prairie 5 Beaver Dam 0
We played well again tonight despite the final score. The guys never gave up and played hard for the full 80 minutes. We moved the ball better in the 2nd half which gave us a number of good opportunities. We are getting the ball wider and need to continue to work on creating more opportunities for us to get off shots on goal. We came close on a number of occasions and just missed by inches of getting one through tonight.” – Beaver Dam coach Dave Elgersma
