Positive Coronavirus Cases Drop To Four-Percent

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting an increase of 307 cases of COVID-19 in Monday’s daily update. There is a total of 15,584 people now having tested positive. State public health officials reported four deaths on Monday bringing the total to 514. One of those deaths is the fifth to be reported in Fond du Lac County, where 174 people have tested positive.

Dodge County reported nine new cases Monday, for a total of 161, with one death on record. The county had 136 negative tests returned for a total of 2,644. Mapping data indicates that there are 45 cases in the city of Beaver Dam, most of them in the past couple weeks. The same with the Waupun-area which has at least 34 cases. There have been 22 cases reported around Watertown and a half-dozen in Mayville.

Washington County has experienced four deaths to date with 206 people testing positive. Jefferson Count has reported three deaths and has a total of 84 cases. There has been one death in Columbia County and 38 positive cases. Green Lake County now has 15 cases. Statewide, there have been 2,339 people requiring hospitalizations, which is 15-percent of those known to have contracted the virus.
