Portage Woman Arrested In Randolph For Ninth Offense OWI

(Randolph) A Portage woman was arrested for ninth offense Operating While Intoxicated Sunday night in the Town of Randolph. A Columbia County Sheriff’s deputy allegedly observed Kelly A. Jorgensen driving on Highway 33 even though her license was suspended because of drunk driving. A traffic stop was made with this vehicle on Inglehart Road in the Town of Randolph and upon contact with the 55-year-old, the deputy observed signs of impairment. Standardized field sobriety tests were conducted and Jorgensen was placed under arrest for her ninth OWI. Jorgensen was booked into the Columbia County Jail on additional charges of Operating after Revocation due to OWI.
